Comfort Inn Griswold

I was in Griswold, CT for a couple days dealing with a family issue and stayed at this Hotel. They allowed me to check in a little early as I had just finished a non stop ride from SC The employees (everyone I came in contact with) were extremely helpful and polite. The bed was comfortable and the entire room was clean and had everything needed and in working order. the included free breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items and was kept well stocked throughout. The indoor pool was heated to 86 degrees which was nice with outside wind chills below zero. The overnight desk employee went out of his way to accommodate my requests with a smile and a positive professional attitude. I will absolutely stay here again for all future stays in the area

My family and I stayed here for a few nights, especially due to my daughter ending up sick, and wanting to keep an immunocompromised family member at home safe. When we first arrived, there were a few small hiccups with our room- HOWEVER, The staff were incredibly accommodating to fix the hiccups. Including the manager Debbie. She was absolutely amazing to us, and always made sure to check that we were good when she seen us, throughout our stay. My kids don’t want to leave, cause they’ve enjoyed the little staycation & are looking forward to coming back for my son’s birthday.

We had a great stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was decent. The front desk help was nice. Only observations the carpets albeit newer needed vacuuming, both in the hallways, public stairway and room. I would stay here again. 19 minutes from the Mohegan Sun convention center. It all worked out.

Wonderful staff! We arrived several hours earlier than expected and the management did what they could to get us a clean room as quickly as possible after a long 12 hour drive. Its located in a very quiet area and there is plenty to see on the scenic byways in the area. Shopping nearby and a good selection of mom n pop restaurants and diners to choose from in the nearby towns.

Pool was really warm. Pool and hot tub pretty clean. Room was clean. Breakfast was simple but good. No complaints for an inexpensive room along the highway.

This is the first hotel I've stayed in that was just better then average. For the price it was great, the pool and hot tub being open to midnight was great for my kids as well as We got in late that evening. The pool was really warm. In the morning we went out to the lobby for breakfast and i was really surprised by the selection of the continental breakfast it was a great stay for me and my kids.

This was a great option for our daughter’s cheer competition at Foxwoods. We wanted something close by and reasonably priced, and this hotel checked all the boxes. The rooms were clean, breakfast was better than expected, and having the pool and hot tub open until midnight was a huge bonus after long days. I initially booked through a third-party site and later added a night directly with the hotel due to bad weather coming in, which led to some confusion at check-in. Debbie, the manager, was very helpful and made sure everything was sorted out and that we were happy in the end. Overall, a really positive stay, and a good reminder that booking directly is usually the easiest option.

Room was great, clean and bed was comfy. Wish i brought a bathing suit, pool looked amazing. The highlight was breakfast. So many options. Thank you to the staff. It was clean, organized and delicious.
